WHO WE ARE
Ministries of Hope (MOH) is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization founded in 2018 that provides services for incarcerated or formerly incarcerated individuals, their families, and at-risk youth. We are affiliated with, but independent from HOPE Church in Conway, SC.
WHAT WE DO
Our mission is to disrupt prison pipelines and build pipelines of purpose. To that end, we offer holistic, integrated services that include youth and workforce development, wellness programs, and advocating for sound criminal justice policy.
FUTURE PROGRAMS
TEEN OUTREACH PROGRAM
MOH will offer youth development programming targeting children of incarcerated parents, who are at an increased risk of incarceration themselves.
Prison Visitation
MOH will provide transportation to correctional institutions for families to visit incarcerated loved ones, allowing incarcerated people to stay connected to their communities.
Life-skills programs
MOH will provide life-skills programming for incarcerated individuals to help prepare them for re-entry. We will offer literacy and technology courses, socio-emotional training, and job-skills workshops.
Record expungement
MOH will collaborate with the SC judicial system to expunge or seal the records of offenders so that they may seek gainful employment without being discriminated against.
